What events or activities does the roleplay community organize, and how can I get involved?

Great question so as of right now the Oklahoma State Roleplay community only does events that are seasonal since we are fairly new to the new revamp within OSRP, but our staffing community have previously discussed on making the following events! GameNights Debate Sessions Cops and Robbers (In-Game) Movie Nights The Purge(In-Game) How can I get involved - At this time all of our information regarding signing up for these events will be posted on our official twitter and inside our announcement channel!
Are there any rules or etiquette I should be aware of when interacting with other members in the community?

How does the community handle character creation, and are there any guidelines for roleplaying within the established themes?

You can create characters in our CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch), the main guideline is NLR (New Life Rule) which is where if you die, you must make a new character.
Are there specific guidelines for creating or joining a department, and how can I contribute to the community's creative aspects?
